Maybe Legion could work.

Pretty much. Also, Legion is a term used by the Iron Legion, and it definitely fits class.

Whee! I picked a good name. Thanks to the Nanoha forums.
Hmm, if the comparison is right, I was thinking UWM addition for the Legion, but Mech has that, I think. It would fit Legion better, if I had to pick.

All three of them can battle. So far we have no class that is purely support. The other three are capable of standing on their own two legs. They just have to focus on specific goals, not annihilation. In fact, Bandits do that as well. The only one that goes in planning to take out most of the time is the Army. Sure, but the focus is to help. They can battle, but in a firefight against an actual battle class they'll lose. We don't have the members to deal with it, anyway. I mean, I would be this class if it was approved and...well, I might just drop the army because I've never been anything else and I never fight anyway, but we just need more players for it to work. It's like Team Fortress 2; you can't play with just one member. It's not exactly like that here, but we're short maybe ten-fifteen members for all of this to work. See, I have some ideas for classes, but I don't bring them up because we don't have the members to handle any more (Nobody cares about my ideas, anyway). Oh, and Maka, the last mission I did was the first Great Owl one, where it doesn't move and just bombs one huge part of the map. Are you on the mission right after it? It looks rather...daunting.

I care about your ideas, and I'd like to hear them. PM them to me if you don't want to make a topic.
We need to make a topic about how to get more members.

Unlikely--What I mean is that people don't usually care if I argue towards an idea anymore, or against it. For example, in the Mechanic argument, most folks just blew off what I had to say.

I pay attention to your concerns, WD. And, well, when you're opposing an idea someone support, it isn't easy to get their attention.

I like Leigon. Also, anyone else think this'd be the perfect class for The Borg?

And, well, when you're opposing an idea someone support, it isn't easy to get their attention. Yeah, I noticed... Also, Legion makes no sense. This isn't a legion, it's a small group that deals in war machines. A legion carries the root meaning of a whole lot of people. (For example, from the Bible, a demon once says, "My name is Legion, for we are many." Metaphor, of course, but you get the picture.) I think Contractor works fine--In fact, I think it's great--Because this class' center is business. "You aren't going to hurt any of us poor folks on Oni Island, are you? Well, we'll have to have a showdown...with some business!" ~Imp Merchant, Okami

I pay attention to your concerns as well, but I think you worry too much. About a lot of things, not just these wars. But that's just me.
I like the name. Bible references not withstanding, it works well when you think about what it's going to be like at it's full force. A lot, a lot of machines.

This is a pretty good idea!
And like other people said, more options allows for more creativity, so people can try different things and not get bored, so we hold onto members' interests for longer!
And for name, I think that Merchants is cool... Merchants of Doom? Weapons Dealers? Black Mark(ets)?

A lot, a lot of machines. Yeah, but they only have ten people to pilot them unless they're automatic/range-controlled. The point is to sell them to people for mo' money mash money cash money cow, I think, not actually fight with them.

Well, the problem with that sort of idea is, what are you going to do once you get all that money? Money is good to buy other things to outfit your Armies, and make them fighting fit. If you just hoard cash, it doesn't do much good.

What about what you did with the Beanbean Bandits? They basically hoarded cash. Just pointing it out.
Merchant or Legion works. Contractor just doesn't have the same feel for me.
And why is automated bad? That's what Maka recommended.
