Let me guess, the evidence is always with the plantiff and defendant, or is it within the file logs?

There's usually no evidence. Evidence implies finding a clue or something that proves one innocent/guilty. We're not using evidence, persay: we're having both sides state their arguements clearly, try to prove their points and refute the others', and then the jury makes a decision. Then, the judge says what the jury's consent is, and then he comes up with a fair sentence (ie. get rid of the artifact, make it a longer project, I'm afraid I'm gonna have to call god-mod on that, etc.)
Methinks that is how it works.

Wait, I thought Mod Court was for MODS and admins to decide one's fate. That's...y'know...why we're elected/appointed.

*doesn't take offensively*
That's not why I was made a moderator. That's just what I've been demoted to.

That's what it was, maka, until NONE of you were on for like 3 days.... >_<. I knew RLD and VGS would be gone; so I didn't pick them. And then you, Petey P, and Makuta all weren't on for three days or more; I didn't want this arguement having to wait for all of the jury's verdict, because someone I picked won't show up. I picked Doomship because he's an admin, and he was on for the last while. And anyways, this whole "needing to be a mod/admin" seems like it may just be a power trip; does being a mod make you better than, say, soul or layze, who I put on the jury?
Besides, none of the other staff members who got back (RLD and Petey P) cared that they weren't on the case, and didn't make themselves heard that they should have been because their mods.

does being a mod make you better than, say, soul or layze, who I put on the jury? Yes. [/sarcasm] I wasn't saying anything, and now that I've heard your point, I accept it. I was merely curious- the original idea was to have mods/admins on the jury.

Here's a question. Is there a moderator's stamp of case dismissal [when it's over]? (Something like the VidGuy Stamp of Approval)

It's called a gavel. And, no, you don't get one!
Anyways, not really. The judge just says when things are done.
