As "Judge" of the Mod Court, I'd like to set this down and make it known. I won't tolerate "I didn't know it wasn't allowed" claims after something happens.
[glow=red,2,300]Etiquette[/glow]
1. No cuss words--At all. If you cuss, censored or not, your case will immediately be closed resulting in the other players victory. You can express yourself easily without them.
2. No all-capitals, or "Screaming", which includes senseless rants. The goal of the Mod Court is to solve problems without that.
3. Please keep insults and sarcasm to a minimum. State your claims and make your point without being extremely caustic.
4. If the other player says something you find to be ridiculously stupid, please do not point it out as such. A more subtle, "I think you worded this incorrectly," works.
5. No funny or "Epic" posts, please. This includes "You Fail" pictures, lolcats, internet memes such as Sparta, or obscenely overblown "Woah!" posts.
6. No Smites or Exalts should be given out because of the Mod Court. If you think the judge (Aka me) or a jury member is unfair, you can deal with it without the means of smiting. The same goes with exalting one just because they agreed with your case. Use those buttons off of personal opinion, not because of something involving the Court.
7. You must make posts with readable grammar. In general, that means capitalizing the personal pronoun "I" and the first letters in sentences, using punctuation, and not shooting off run-on-sentences as well as spelling most words correctly. It's not that major, but if we can't read what you're saying, there's a problem.
8.You are allowed a single "OBJECTION!" picture per case. Just as long as your whole post isn't some witty message about it, or just posting the picture.
[glow=orange,2,300]Rules[/glow]
1. The judge will be a fair individual. He will assign punishments if any are necessary. Should you break the etiquette rules, you will probably take a punishment related to the wars, such as losing 2,000 troops.
2. If the judge is involved in a case, a replacement judge will found.
3. The jury will consist of five reliable members unassociated with the case.
4. If the judge or any of the jury are found to be biased and/or bribed, they will be suspended from their position for four days, as well as a possible additional punishment relating to the wars. This includes being unfair to kaka or similar members simply because you dislike them.
5. If the jury finds the defendant guilty, then the appropriate steps will be taken depending on the case. Vice versa for the other side.
6. Should you strongly disagree with the judge, you may not only punch him, but also contest his decision in an orderly manner. However, you should not abuse this privilege. You may lose it if you do so.
==========
Anyways, at this point we have not used the Mod Court yet, so it's a good time to suggest more rules and things we'll need later on for it.
