How strong is Caulder statwise?

I don't know, but I hear the developers banned him from Wi-Fi. Something about a 160 Boost.

CO Zone: Three Boosts: All Units Effect: Attack up ***** Defense up ***** No CO power All units in CO Zone recover each day.
Let's just say a CO Zone of Three is large, a 5 star increase in either category is insane, boosting all units is a great benefit, and recovering is amazing. He's tough.

It doesn't look like Caulder could beat Sturm then. Sturm's stats are much better.
CO Zone: Infinite Boosts: All Units Effect: Attack up ** Defense up ** CO Power: Meteor Strike - Deals 8 damage in a 3 x 3 area. All units are unaffected by Rain or hindered by terrain.

Oh, sure, but Caulder's units in his CO zone repair 5 damage every friggin' turn. And they also get 50% offense and 50% defense bonuses. So you just have to overpower and utterly, completely obliterate them or they'll repair and do a bunch of damage again because of their broken bonuses.
Also, in other news, I beat mission 25 and got an S! WOOOOO!
Edit: And Caulder is so much cooler than Sturm and Von Bolt. He's actually a well-rounded, so to speak, guy with a personality that could feasibly exist in real life.

Caulder does seem to be much cooler then Sturm; I agree with that, but he still can't beat Sturm, except on tiny maps.
Sturm's forces get a universal boost, so they can attack from multiple fronts. Caulder can only boost his troops in one area.
Sturm is unaffected by terrain, so he will be able to get a property advantage by marching his troops straight over mountain and rivers, not to mention get the first strike more often.
Also, Caulder's main strength can be his downfall. Sturm's meteor alway hits the largest concentration of funding, and I bet Caulder is going to surround himself with the strongest and most expensive units. After that, Sturm would just sweep Caulder off the field.

I agree with Dumple. Also, I just beat the game, and I S ranked the final mission. Woo!
EDIT: Yeah, Sturm could probably beat Caulder. But the Nest certainly counteracts that.
