Well...as it turns out...switching means that I have something like 20 kb of tech and troops to update, give or take a few kilobytes. So, I've got no choice but to start on it sometime or other. And that time is...now. Or, at least, I'll work on it a little bit at a time. Gimme a little while to get this stuff up...
====================
General Idea of the Troops: The troops of the Toy Team are entirely toys (Just very advanced, intelligent, almost human-like toys). Each one only stands about a foot and a half tall. Also, by themselves, they aren't even that great at fighting. However, once a piece of equipment falls into their hands, or a vehicle to drive, or a weapon, or a piece of machinery, they're great with it. A Mini Mario vs. a Koopa will likely get knocked to pieces. However, a Mini Mario with a razor disk would have much more of a chance, in fact, a pretty good chance of killing the Koopa. The strong point of the toys is not in their strength or power, but in their cleverness and dexterity in using machines/equipment. And with that, here are the toys themselves.
Mini Marios
Adorable little toy Marios. They have somewhat high-pitched voices, and enough charm to sink a battleship with. They're fairly average troops. They're quite mechanical-looking, in a way, and are very fast. They can jump high, run quickly, and dodge attacks very well thanks to their small size and dexterity. After that...uhh...what's to say? They really don't have anything going for them without equipment. Basically, the way things are, they aren't too special by themselves--In fact, there aren't (m)any strong points besides speed--But when they have equipment, they're immediately very good with it. Mini Marios can drive vehicles, control machines, use equipment, and do whatever they need to with ease. They really need it to be worth anything, but when they do have equipment to use, they're very effective in using it.
Mini Toads
Small, toy Toads. Duh. These guys are very fast-moving, even more than the Mini Marios. They can pump their little feet extremely quickly, thanks to a mechanism in their makeup that allows them to rapidly move their joints. The same goes for jumping; the same mechanism allows them to flick their feet and propel themselves high into the air. Mini Toads are light, and if they don't plant their feet firmly in the ground, they can get picked up by gusts of wind and ride them to get taken over walls, enemy defenses, and whatnot. Mini Toads are very good at Pikmin-styled swarming. They can leap all over enemies and kill them through numbers. With weapons, though, they pretty much don't even need to do this. Unfortunately, Mini Toads aren't the most defensive of guys; they really have to rely on their great dodging skills to survive, because a few well-placed hits will knock them apart.
Mini Peaches
Next up are the toy versions of Princess Peach. These are used for several things--Mainly, however, they're for repairing. Mini Peaches have plenty of extra mechanical parts, along with mini toolboxes, which they can use to repair machines, fix problems, tune-up defenses and such, and anything that they need to. They can do this to their fellow toys as well. Additionally, Mini Peaches have parasols that do two things. The first is add a heavy amount of defense--When they're holding their parasols out, projectiles will be reflected off of them and it'll be hard to break through and destroy the Mini Peaches. The other ability allows Mini Peaches to glide long distances by using their parasols to float around. This also means that falling long distances is never a problem, as they'll just float gently down where they need to. In general, Mini Peaches are repair and workshop-type units.
Mini DKs
These are much bulkier and heavier than the other toys. Mini DKs possess a lot of strength, and can give monster punches that'll send machine pieces flying. These punches can also be fatal to organisms if landed in the right locations. Special mechanisms in the Mini DKs' makeup allow them to quickly and rapidly hurl these punches, so they're more dangerous than the other toys. Unfortunately, they lose some speed because of it, but the extra strength and defense they get makes them quite helpful.
Mini Yoshis
Without much doubt, Mini Yoshis are some of the most versatile and helpful troops in the army. They have extend-able tongues that can stick small objects to themselves, by means of tiny barbs stuck in the Mini Yoshis' tongues. Then, the objects grabbed by the long tongues can be yanked back in and swallowed by the Mini Yoshis. Because they're machines, stuff with poison on it won't be a problem for them. There's also a defusing mechanism inside that makes anything explosive that was swallowed harmless. Like real Yoshis, swallowed things can be turned into eggs and hurled at foes for a lot of kinetic damage. Mini Yoshi eggs, however, also explode. Additionally, they can give ground pounds that shake the area and throw enemies off of their feet. The other toys, being rather small, aren't affected by these. Lastly, Mini Yoshis can be used as cavalry, meaning that other minis can ride on their backs for extra speed and whatnot. In melee, Mini Yoshis can give large headbutts. Unfortunately, they aren't really built in humanoid shape, and can't operate machinery so well as the other minis. They usually have to rely on their equipment and ability to get them through.

Okay...that's all I got done right now.
