Updrades (These apply to all units unless stated otherwise):
Shroominator- Essentially, this upgrade equips all rifles with a shroominator setting. When a toad fires at an enemy unit that isn't damaged by the weapon for elemental reasons, the shroominator upgrade allows them to take damage. It's a small amount, but it still packs a decent punch, and gives my troops more versatility.
Tech Class- Now, all my troops have the ability to repair technological devices. The knowledge of how technology works gives my troops the ability to keep War Machines, Base Defenses, or any technological gadgets working longer, or even repair fully broken ones on the battlefield. They aren't miracle workers, but they certainly are capable of fixing stuff now.
Red Toads- Fire Ranged Unit
These are Fire Based Units, designed to burn enemies to a crisp. They themselves are immune to fire and explosions. They are armed with flame rifles, which fire shots of flame to incinerate enemy units. These make light work of infantry, and are pretty sturdy with their immunity to some of the most powerful attack types.
Green Toads- Tunneling Ranged Unit
These are designed to tunnel under ground. They are equipped with dynamite and pickaxes, and are experts at tunneling underground. This makes them great for surprise attacks. To aid in visibility, they are equipped with headlamps. They are also equipped with hand grenades for fighting. They are immune to poison.
Blue Toads- Aquatic Ranged Unit
These are designed for an aquatic siege, but are still quite useful on land. They are equipped with flippers, which allows them to effortlessly navigate the seas but slows them down on land. They are equipped with freeze rays to stop troops and war machines in their tracks. This ray only freezes water near a unit, so if used underwater, it won't freeze the whole body of water. They cannot be frozen.
Yellow Toads- Electrical Ranged Unit
These are for electrifying enemy units. They are equipped with bombs designed to send out an EMP to disable electrical devices. They also have electro-guns, which fire bolts of lightning at foes. They are immune to electricity and light based attacks.
Purple Toads- Anti-Magic Ranged Unit
These are for dealing with the magic factor. They are equipped with anti-magic rifles, which fire an anti-magic pulse. This pulse doesn't damage the victim, but they will be unable to make use of any magical attacks if hit. This only lasts a few minutes, and it takes many to deal with heroes. This may screw over magical based armies, but remember, this is only one of my unit types- they can't take care of a whole army instantly. They have goggles that can detect invisible units, making them very handy in fighting off stealth attacks. They are immune to psionic, magic, and darkness based attacks.
Red- General
The fearless Red, leader of the Toad Brigade! Well, he's not exactly fearless, but he still rocks. He's a Red Toad, so he's immune to fire and explosions. He has a Headlamp to light his way, and a backpack to carry, well, whatever he needs. He leads the Brigade with incredible tactical skill, and carries a flame rifle to help him out in any skirmish. If he's in trouble, he'll reach into his backpack and see what he's got. Hopefully he remembered to bring something good.
Four-Eyes- Captain
The genius behind the operation, this guy has quite a brain behind his spectacles. In battle, he's ready to fight, but always has his brain moving as he intently watches the battle. Don't be fooled- he's completely alert and ready when the fight comes, but he's always got an idea forming. He's armed with a freeze ray to defend himself.
