Welcome to the Wars, elisha! Make us proud! No, it's not completely correct...that factory is 40 days, not 50, and mini-descriptions on the other projects would be needed, y'know. Also, fire is Dry Bones' biggest weakness, not their strong point. I believe everything else is correct, however.

Oh, you see, that factory is 50 days so It'll make stuff faster (8 days). And in New super mario bros., dry bones are unaffected by fire. That's why.

You might as well decrease it to 40. If it makes something in 8 days, that something will only be 8 days strong - which isn't very strong.
Also, we go by the Dry Bones being weak to fire thing (Like in the Paper Mario games) because otherwise Dry Bones would be invincible.

Because, the ONLY thing that can break bones is fire. Totally. Not hammers or artillery, or even snapping them in half. Nope. Only fire. :eye roll:
Let the new guy make his units how he wants! We don't say anything against cold-resistant units or other types of fire-resistant troops, so what difference does it make?

Uhh... Have you ever actually played a Mario game? If you had, you'd notice that Dry Bones come back alive unless you kill them using fire. If fire/explosions don't affect them, what's to stop them coming back alive over and over again?

A responsible and competant moderator, that's what.
And besides, in Mario games, he never really had access to tanks or guns or laser beams, so who's to say that just because there's been a few established methods of killing a Dry Bones in "E" games, why does that mean those are the ONLY ones? Do we only allow units to kill eachother by jumping on them or throwing a shell or fireball? Is Bowser unkillable unless he falls into a pit of lava?

I definitely agree with bulbmin. Let me quote my troop section here...
Dry Bones Skeleton Koopas. Dry Bones have an endless supply of bones that can be thrown at high speed to crack skulls, or can be swung like baseball bats. And don't get me wrong--Them bones are hard bones! If they're broken apart, foes will find to their displeasure that unless their bones are scattered all over the place, the Dry Bones that got knocked apart will rebuild itself. They can also use this to their advantage in another way--They can fall apart and play Possum, making others think they're dead. Or, if the bones are scattered, their friends can bring 'em together. However, if you just pulverize 'em and smash their bones into tiny pieces, they won't be coming back. Also, if a lot of fire is introduced, they'll disintegrate. They're strong in some areas, and weak in others; oh, yeah, and "Holy Water" or anything like that doesn't mean much. Dousing them just makes them Wet Bones, which are in essence the same things.
I'd say that's pretty fair. In the Paper Mario series, fire annihilates Dry Bones, and they're definitely canonical. If he wants to make them fire-resistant, there should be a different kind; such as, say, Red Dry Bones! It's pretty simple...oh, and it's just coincidence that Wet Bones were mentioned in there. I wrote that before elishatheman showed up here, so Wet Bones hadn't been introduced yet. Really, all you have to do is get explosives and blow them into tiny pieces; being made of bones that are, incidentally, dry, one would expect the explosion to do sufficient grinding.

I understand, but think of it this way: If Mario had a tank in the games, I doubt that ANY enemies, even the Dry Bones, would be any trouble. If Mario had lasers and all sorts of weaponry that we have, they would be Burnt Bones. If they're resistant to just fire, I think that's fine, once we consider how they can be effectively destroyed in other ways. Sure, they have their own little powers, but they ARE only worth one troop; not very powerful in the grand scheme of things. Being blown to bits would certainly still finish them, as his section only says "FIRE resistant".
I just don't think that this should be a large problem

Yes, but things would get confusing if we had 2 different troops with the same name and different properties. It would be less confusing if these fireproof Dry Bones had a different name.
