this is an idea that I had for a fourth class, tell me what you think, maybe we could do some tweaking.
it's kinda like mercenary class, but not quite.
first of all, there can only be one at any time; it's first come, first serve.
now, an assassin is someone who, for a set fee(maybe 10,000 coins?), will sneak into a base and kill someone in complete stealth.
an assassin would be allowed NO troops, and is in fact only the strength about half a hero, which is where stealth comes in. they're also allowed to build tech, but too much makes them less stealthy.
they also have no real base; it's just a single building wherever they want. but they're also allowed to wander, even taking recon on other peoples' bases.
no, a real system would have to be put in place to decide whether a recon/assassination is successful, but that shouldn't be a problem if we put our heads together. we'd also have to maybe figure out what they do with money they get or something. I dunno, but this could be a lot of fun, and even if it does get complicated, the "first come, first serve" thing should make sure people only become one if they understand the rules. what do you guys think?

I don't know. It seems kind of cool, but it seems a bit exclusive.

Eh, it's an idea, but I just don't know how popular this would be. A RE like this might be cool later on, but...
I had an idea for a fourth class, myself, actually.
Mechanic. Basically, you're granted one Uber War Machine, no troops, and one pilot which has the strength of 5 units. This Uber War Machine can be upgraded as much as you want, and can be as rediculously powerful as such. However, the lack of troops makes this class a little bit dangerous, and you're one huge walking/flying/hovering target as it.

Or, you could have the pilot be the strength of a hero w/ a quest.
It'd go well for our mercs, viddy. >_>

Well, once you have a Uber War Machine of 500+ Days, I think that anything else would be unfair.

But it would be nothing else. Nada.
Anyway, this class has a huge defect.
If caught in a straight on battle, death. Just get some radar tech or anti-stealth tech, and bam. And if you get Anti-Anti Stealth Tech, the enemy can just get anti-anti-anti stealth tech. See?

How many times have we gotten an anti-anti-anti-anti-ANYTHING in the Wars?
Besides, they would almost identical to Mercs, except only a UWM, rather than an individual and Uber Transport.

Seriously, I like viddy's idea.

I like it, but allow me to say this:
I wish you had proposed it for Deluxe. It would have been perfect for GT and Brobot.

Maka, chances are that if GT was a Mechanic during Deluxe and if he did all that, chances are he wouldn't have made it to the Finale.

Yeah...
But Brobot would have been a beast. Even more than already.

I don't like it; it's essentially a cheap knock-off of an enemy's hero or somesuch, whereas all it takes to kill the assassin is a squad of 1,000 troops or probably far less. Heck, a few artillery would kill him; and since you guys insisted that we keep the rules so that you know where everybody else is, there's no problem in finding the assassin. Also, for the number of players we have, we don't need another class.
