Can we use our troops in the frostbite RE now that it's on hold? I don't think we should be able to but whatever. I heard we might.

RLDline said that we can "play like we haven't lost any troops", so I guess so.

That doesn't seem fair. We shouldn't be able to use dead troops, just because we don't know they're dead.

Well, screw that. I'm not waiting 6 weeks until I can battle again.

That's your fault though. You were not forced to do this. You didn't have to send all your troops. You didn't have to be a merc who cannot gain troops while others were away. If you had been an army you could have gained troops. In short, your inability to fight wasyour choice. Besides, we could just have a mod continue it while RLD is gone right? I'm sure he wouldn't mind.
Edit:Plus he didn't say, play like you had all your troops at base, he just said to not take any causualtys from your logs.

That is a very good interpretation and insight into the matter, Yoshisoul.
And as for the continuation, since it was RLD's RE, he probably had something in mind that no one else would think of. And seeing as he left for China this morning, we'll be hardpressed to get a response from him on the matter.

You did hire Rydon though, Yoshimaster. Didn't you tell him to bring his troops?
Still, we can't have half of our armies stranded out in some snowstorm, especially since there would be some survivors who would have made it back by now.

6 weeks? Did RLD seriously start a battle that no one else can mod and then leave for 6 weeks? The heck?
Well, that's a great way to bring SMKW to a halt. I'll have to try and update without troops then; I have an epic new theme that I can switch to without having to carry out an army switch.

EDIT: One week. When RLDline gets back, we'll just pester him until he updates, and we'll be done relatively soon. That's survivable.

Yes, it was my choice, however, at the time of entering the battle, I was unaware I would be put to a halt for 1 week. If I had known beforehand I would not haven enetered the battle.

Rydon, I'm in the same position, but I'm not complaining. Though, I think that waiting for the Beanbean Bandits' attacks to get over with have given me the patience I need to wait this out. It's only one week, Rydon, and it's SUMMER! Don't focus on this for the entire season! Take a break from this, and it'll go by much faster.

Yeah! Pick up a Battalion Wars game. Or maybe Advance Wars. It looks fun, everyone here who's played the games likes them, and the two games are similar in concept.

Yar, Battalion Wars is almost exactly Advance Wars only you're controlling the units in real time, and the strategy has turned into action. A lot of the units are the same, like Recons, Tanks, Anti-Airs, Grunts (Infantry), Bazooka Vets (Mechs), and so on.
Just ordered Days of Ruin yesterday online...
I'm a little afraid of it...
On GameSpot there's a little picture of an electric chair at the top of its review to represent the difficulty...
