All shall start out at 50, then when I convert them to Star Cards they'll gain an additional 50 days. That works. So then, I take it I can do 5 logs for each card, right?

Yeah, that sounds fine. Don't forget, though, if you're going to do a Quest, you have to do all five logs for the Card.

Hey...but then that'd be 5 logs/50 days for a card that'll ultimately end up being 100.

I know. But I'm protected while doing a Quest, so I can safely make a pseudo-factory for upgrading Clow Cards while Questing, and then focus better.
Because I'll upgrade it. Are you saying stuff you get in a Quest can't be upgraded? Since when?

Wait, now I remember that Rydon did that thing for his troops that was 100 Days or so; I was thinking of how Bandits can't get Uber War Machines.

Well, it seems to be working around the rule. You make 5 logs to get a 50-day card. Seems fair. Then, you just upgrade it up to 100 or any larger amount. If that's how it is, what's to keep you from just getting a 10-day card for one log and then upgrading the rest of it, besides the penalty of a little bit of speed?

Uh, WD, the process you explain sounds pretty fair to me, to be honest.
That's the purpose of Quests: to avoid having to wait for a project by doing extra work in another sense.

It's 100 Days either way. And it's faster to do a 10 day Quest than a 5 day Quest and 50 days of work, so I don't see why you would want the first one done.

Either that is a thinly veiled stab at my writing, or it's not relevant to the topic at hand.

I guess I'll start soon then. Tomorrow, when I'm not going on one hour of sleep.

Either that is a thinly veiled stab at my writing, or it's not relevant to the topic at hand. Either/or fallacy. It was nothing like a stab at your writing--What I was saying was, people that can gain ideas and put them down in text faster will have a much easier time with that than those that find it difficult.

Which means it is irrelevant to the topic at hand.
