How exactly does the 6th hero work? I know you can only have 5 active hero, but can the 6th one step in if another hero becomes unable to fight?
EDIT: I hope so, especially since I spent so much time on Toadsworth.

Yeah, you have six members in your group. However, only five are at Hero strength at any time.
So, what that means is that you can have Peach, Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Yoshi at Hero strength. Say in a battle Yoshi bites the dust. Toadsworth can move right in and take his place with no delay. Or, you can have Peach, Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Toadsworth in a battle, with Toad being at Rep strength back at the base.

Mmm...in a way, I'm not a big fan of the Civilian bonus. Just my two cents, but I think it should be smaller somehow. I mean, shouldn't we pamper the new members, not the veterans? If you know what I mean, it doesn't seem to make much sense to give bonuses to long-time players, which will just make a larger gap and favor those that have been here for a while moreso. The game already favors those that have played for a while too much. For example, a player with 200,000 troops, 50 defenses, 25 machines, and several assets would easily beat a newer guy with just 50,000 troops, 10 defenses, 3 machines, and maybe one asset. And the only way for the former player to get to the point of the latter player is to stay longer. But then the latter player will get things like the Civilian bonus and push farther ahead.

^ Well, d'you know what? You can take those two cents and shove 'em up your ass![/joking]
That's why veterans don't pull dick moves and attack new armies. And if they didn't join up earlier, they shouldn't be babied for it. They can tough it out, not get into any trouble, and build up some force!

I don't mean we that we should spoonfeed them, but the way it generally works is, your strength is directly proportional to the amount of time you've spent here. So it just makes a bunch of "Classes," if you will. Those that have been here for a week, those that have been here for a month, two months, three months, five months, eight months, and so on. And you can only attack those in your class or below it without a 90% chance of getting blown away. So by the time that guy "Builds up some force," as you say, it doesn't really mean anything because all that force will allow him to do is attack the others in his class, which he could always do, or pick on the players below him, which is obviously frowned upon. The vets will have advanced an equal amount to him, so it doesn't really mean much. See what I mean?

Well what's the point of staying around longer when someone can just join up and still be a major threat to you? Armies aren't built overnight; you put in time.
Besides, you don't play, so... yeah.

Well what's the point of staying around longer when someone can just join up and still be a major threat to you? Armies aren't built overnight; you put in time. Obviously; that can't be changed. However, we should give the veterans an even larger bonus. It'll just push it even more. I have refuted this a good three times already. I'll find the posts if you wish and if they weren't purged, or I'll just bring the points up again. The fact that I don't play in SMKW hardly if at all diminishes my claims. Stop attacking me with arguments that are already dead. Edit: Here are a couple of them. I care because I've played this game for over a year and have been here since topic 3 on GameFAQs. That means I joined perhaps a month after the game originally started, or even before that. I don't want to see it ruined. And I still play in The Wars, and may rejoin this version if I see some different things show up, such as heroes being balanced out and tech army strength enhanced/hero (Or magic) armies weakened. The fact I don't play in this version of SMKW anymore does not make what I say invalid.
Once again, the point that I'm not playing any more is brought up and still holds no value. Could a general who has retired from the military not have any say in its direction or advice for its future? Does one have to actively participate in something to guide it? The reason I'm so caustic over that post is because it's random, uncalled-for, and incomplete.Basically, the point is, if I had never played before, then what I am saying would be invalid. However, I have played for nearly all of SMKW's life (And if you really did join in late topic 3, longer than you). Therefore, what I say still has value.
