Yeah, I hate to start up the whole "Rules Revision" thing again, but I was thinking that for the next wars, we should just add not actual rules, persay, but more like a code. Common courtesy and things that people should naturally do to make things easier for everyone in the long run, not just in the wars, but on the board as well.
1) Make sure your log entries allow others to know when you're beginning new projects or powerful projects. A simple mention such as, "We're now building a _____" would prevent any confusion and allow any problems to be tackled in advance, rather than when they're being employed.
2) Please update your Troop, Tech, and Base topic relatively soon after you begin work on the project, or before a battle; doing so will allow others to know what things can do, and let them spot out things that they believe is unfair. Also, doing so will allow Mods to have an easier time writing battles without needing to search for information.
2a) If you don't have the time to write a full description, please put a short but clear description of the item.
[Hammer Bros:- 2000 (Hammer Throwing Unit)
Doom Tank:- (30 Day Artillery WM)
Laser Turrets:- (Motion-Sensor lasers fire at enemies)]
3) When calling God-Mod on a certain subject, please post the description of the item in question and say clearly what you find unfair. This will allow members to easily target and ameliorate the problem.
3a) While it may be the "Argument Board", problems will be resolved much quicker and easier if both parties strive to make a compromise that pleases everyone, rather than be stubborn in their opinion.
4) War Mods should make an effort to write updates and battles as quickly and frequently as they can. If the War Mod realizes while writing the battle that he is unable to proceed, please let the warring parties know, so they can begin looking for a new Mod, rather than wait an unfairly long time to find out the news.
4a) The Mod should check to make sure that they will not be busy during the time it will take to write the battle before taking on the job.
4b) While it is the Mod's responsibility to write the battle, please understand that it lies with those affected to motivate the Mod into action; encourage him to write rather than be angry when he doesn't.
4c) Rather than wait for someone else to volunteer, help the Wars go by smoother by volunteering yourself for the job if you believe you can.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Again, this is just for common courtesy; we can't penalize people for not following these codes, but people should still try to do so to make things easier for the forum.
Opinons? Comments? Anything else to add?
