It was that way before the attack was announced.

Seems somewhat futile. Whatever.

Can I just send Grodus the Crystal Stars, and bypass this nonsense? This battle could take way too long to finish, and that's all Grodus wants anyways. That's all I wanted. BEFORE. You wouldn't give me the Crystal Stars when we were Allies- who's REALLY the greedy one here? You done pissed me off, now, and you're gonna pay the piper. Besides, I wouldn't put it past you to try to put some kinda crazy "Ha-we-still-control-the-Crystal-Stars-bulldacrap" on me.

Uh, why would I? I have better things to do with my time.
And really, I didn't expect it to work well. I have a feeling if we allied, it wouldn't go nearly as well as either of us would like. As well, you wanted other people on your side, not my help.

No, I mean, why would I bother giving him Crystal Stars and betray him? I have better things to do with my time. I don't know why people have this massive backstabber idea going on with me, but it's starting to get on my nerves. I'm not that kind of person. The only time I've ever done anything somewhat like that was in the Glitz Pitz, and I didn't even realize I had done that. It was more of a joke thing, I thought.

Look Merloo, you've given yourself that image and haven't done much to shake it, so... er. I don't pick fights with you, but until you "show signs of a different Merloo" people are going to brand you as an argumentative person. Especially people who just go with the status quo and decide "Someone else don't like 'im, I don' like 'im!"

What's that thing in your sig say again, Mr. Blue? Value knowledge, logic, and deceit? Love to pursue wisdom but also to manipulate and deceive? Treacherous and [glow=red,2,300]cold[/glow]? Nah, you're a great guy.

Oh pish posh. I'm not like that, and a number of people know that. I just act like this in public, and in private I'm a lot different. Mainly because I don't like showing everyone my less direct side in public. Even layze can tell I'm very different in PM's, right?
In conclusion, I'm a lot different here than I am in private. I may argue a lot, but honestly, it's because I'm worried my opinion will be drowned out by the sheer number of people against me most of the time, or at least the sheer strength of their being against me. I really don't like arguing, and again, a number of people probably know this about me actually. But I don't want to just be ignored. It just doesn't seem to happen without my arguing.

Here's something for you Merloo: don't do a big paragraph for your views, do it in a few sentences, 1-2 lines at most. It will help.
I think hope...

And I've been criticized for not explaining things well enough in the past, so I feel I should explain things in greater detail from now on.

Yes, that would hold, if we knew you outside of the internet, but instead, for the most part, all we know of you is what you do here. So, naturally, that is what you'll be judged for. If someone was caught in a crime, could he plead that he acted differently in private and hope to get off that way? Not in most countries.

Private as in PM's. Which a number of you have talked to me on. If I had to take a guess, you would be the only person I haven't talked to on PM's by now now still frequently criticizes me. I know fully well that you can't tell how I act in real life.
Again, this is why I need to explain every little detail, even though I'd figure the mention of layze knowing how I act in private should have been enough of a clue. As near as I know, we don't live anywhere near each other.

I know fully well that you can't tell how I act in real life. Actually, nobody here knows how you act elsewhere, because we don't know you outside of the internet. All we have is your word to go on, and as vidguy pointed out, you're not exactly trustworthy here. And it doesn't matter how you act in one circumstance in comparison to another in a context like this; if I killed somebody but was nice to someone else, would the fact that I was nice to that person cancel out what I did earlier? No, it doesn't work that way.
