I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for a 1000th Post in the history of our wars.
One Summer Ago, a great Scot, in whose symbolic shadow we stand today, created the Mushroom Kingdom Wars. This momentous game came as a great beacon light of hope to A bunch of gamers who had needed something to do in their freetime. It came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of their lives.
But half a year later, the Warer is still enjoying the game. Half a year later, the only thing crippling the Warer are the seldom manacles of arguements and the random chains of disagreement. Half a year later, the Warer lives on a populated island of imagination in the midst of a vast ocean of default and conformity. Half a year later, the Warer ignores the insults of heyaks and smiles upon their defeat. So we have come here today to celebrate a wonderful condition.
In a sense I have come to our war's capital to cash a check. When the architect of our wars wrote the magnificent words of the The Rules, they were signing a promissory note to which every Warer was to fall heir. This note was a promise that all people, yes, 10 year olds as well as 33 year olds, would be guaranteed the unalienable rights of Rule 38, "Have Fun."
It is obvious today that The Mushroom Kingdom Wars has not strayed afar on this promissory note insofar as her players are concerned. Most of us have honored this sacred obligation. Petey has given us far from a bad check, but a check which has come back marked "GET!". We refuse to believe that the bank of the wars has GET! amount of funds but we don't really care. Although we do not refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of these Wars. So we have come to cash this check — a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice in these wars. I walk up to the bank and hand it in to find I already have the freedom and justice I need but some do not believe that. This is not time to ask for more and more justice and freedom. This is not time to make statements the wars are falling. It is not the time to try to rise from the golden and sunlite valleys of the current wars to another level of greatness. Eventually it will be the time to uplift our Wars from greatness it already is to another level but now is not the time. Now is the time to play the current wars and not try to fix it's basic faults.
It would be fatal for the War's population to try to fix the current problems. This sweltering summer of the player's legitimate discontent will not pass until the current wars are over. Although the end of current war will not be and end, but a beginning for another glorious war. Those who hope that layze will stop picking on noobs needs to stop wishing and will have a rude awakening if the next wars is filled with new players. There will be neither rest nor tranquility in the next Wars unless we all accept its changes and agree that what is said goes. The whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our forum until the bright day of justice emerges and we all agree on a fair new set of rules for the next wars.
But there is something that I must say to my fellow Mods who stand on the warm threshold from where we control the wars. In the process of gaining our rightful place here we must not abuse our powers. Let us not seek to satisfy our fellow players and not cause agruments.
And to the players. The War Mods were picked for they were fair and just ways. They arn't here to be against you but to be for you. Without them the wars would crumble. Respect them and their word. If it is unfair let the War Mods handle it.
We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into violent arguements and Walls o' Text. Again and again we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting God Modding and arguments with soul force. The marvelous ways we wish to handle things as War Mods have turned into threats we use to calm the agruments down. We apologize and this must not lead the players to a distrust of all War Mods, for in most cases we War Mods are very trustworthy. Players nor War Mods cannot walk alone.
As we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall always march ahead. We cannot turn back. There are those who are asking the other players, "When will you be satisfied with the current wars?" The answer is we may never be satisfied in these wars. As long as the player is the victim of the unspeakable horrors of player to War Mod brutality. We can never be satisfied, as long as our armies, heavy from in game fighting, cannot gain a break from the hostelness of their enemies. We cannot be satisfied as long as armies find loopholes in the rules. We can never be satisfied as long as armies have more War Machines or defences than their enemies can handle. We cannot be satisfied as long as a player feels he has no chance in the wars and quits. No, no, we are not satisfied, and we will not be satisfied until just rules are enforced in the next wars.
I am not unmindful that some of you have come to the wars to find friends and someone that cares for you. Some of you have come fresh from a 5-Day Ban. Some of you have come from areas where you just need something to do. You have been the veterans of creative suffering at school and other places in real life. Ignore them. Do not let others put you down for your interest or what you find fun. Do not conform.
Now, go back to the Beanbean Bandits, go back to the Starry Saviors, go back to the Blooper Bombers, go back to the Fowl Ones, go back to the Green Thunder, go back to the Fuzzy Pirates, knowing that someday the problems you think we have will be solved.
I say to you today, my friends, so even though you might face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the Mushroom Kingdom War's dream.
I have a dream that one day everyon in these Wars will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "Have Fun."
I have a dream that one day on the red hills of the Argument Board there will be no topics, only a clean board.
I have a dream that one day even the ongoing Feuds against Merloo will be transformed into nothingness and will forgetten over time.
I have a dream that all of you will not be judged by what you do but by the content of your character.
I have a dream today.
I have a dream that one day, in the school of Axem Red and Maka, with its vicious population, with people making fun of Axem for no reason; one day right there in that school, everyone could unite together as brothers and sisters.
I have a dream today.
I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.
Let freedom ring from the volcanos of Melty Molten Mafia!
Let freedom ring from the castle of the Koopa Bros!
But not only that; let freedom ring from Dojo of the Sammer Guys!
Let freedom ring from Radar Tower of the 64!
Let freedom ring from every depth of the Underwhere. From every mountainside, let freedom ring.
And when this happens, when we allow freedom to ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual, "Free at last! free at last! thank God Almighty, we are free at last!"
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
